Hi All,

After clicking on the http://www.webercarbs.com link I found the following link with useful fuel pump related info:

http://www.racetep.com/webfuelspark.html#webfuel

It looks as though our weber carbs don't like pulse type pumps and the Carter CRT-P4070 seems to be the best fuel pump to use. RaceTep charge US$95.- but the same carter pump can be purchased from Summit for US$59.95:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0006H ... n=15684181

Following an hour or so of surfing around on the internet it really does seem to be THE fuel pump for webers.

My only concern is that it may be too big. Has anybody ever successfully installed the Carter fuel pump on their Paso?

Cheers,

Mark

much appreciated information, i hadn't got around to doing the engine work yet... so it's worth sorting before they start refurbishing it.

Hi All,

I contacted RaceTep and asked for the Carter CRT-P4070 specifications. They replied as follows:

"carter does not publish a spec sheet on thier website..the pumps are about the size of a soda can and have to be mounted vertically"

A bracket can be easily fabricated to mount the pump vertically but where are we going to find enough space to fit a pump the size of a soda can...??? If I'm not mistaken it weighs about 2.5lbs...

Any thoughts?

Cheers,

Mark
