I was told that the difference among various digiplex 2S ECU is the different timing setup .
Does any of you happen to find more ifos about that?

All I’ve ever found, via Fiat forums is the MED433 advance curves:

This appears to have a lower ceiling for degrees (and lower max rpm) compared to the advance curves in the 906 service manual for the Digiplex S2 MED442A, as you’d expect for a Fiat Uno compared to a 906! Different vacuum steps as well.

What is? The chart is in the wsm and 433 chart is one of many which is not relevant for the 906.FAQ material

G - agree it’s not that useful. Posted more as a caution of what not to buy. And not everyone might have seen the 906 one in the workshop manual to know what to look for when checking other models. Thought it might help get the ball rolling!

I wasn't criticising! Every info about what or why something won't work is more than welcome. This info is as valuable as info about what will work.
It's just not for the FAQs.
