Anyone ID this rear shock?
Anyone ID this rear shock?
Can anyone ID this shock? It has no parts number on it that I can see. There is the remainder of a name on the label ‘Pulsar’ and Valvular system but no brand name i can see. It was supposed to be a Marzocchi but no evidence.

Re: Anyone ID this rear shock?
that above the "Pulsar" is the M, the Marzocchi logo.
The spring may have been replaced. Yellow is typical to Ohlins.
Here're a few pics of a disassembled Pulsar3 which may be a later model.

Re: Anyone ID this rear shock?
Thank you. I had been over complicating my searches otherwise I would have found that first time!!! I didn’t recognise the logo. It’s a good find it seems, if it still functions. Will take it to my local suspension guy.
Re: Anyone ID this rear shock?
Sounds like the Marzocchi Pulsar was relatively rare and was used in prefers over the Parioli OEM unit in race bikes, including Tony Rutter’s IOM TT winning machine.
