Kokusan rubber holder

Post by Kmamac »

I’m in need of a pair of the rubber holders for the kokusan ignition boxes. The two I picked up on eBay as part of my project to get this 750 sport up and running did not have them. Are there any generic holders that could work. Don’t really want them flapping around in the tray they sit on. Last resort will be a pair of rubber bands!

Many asian scooters and other small bikes use similar CDI modules.

I don't know the dimensions of the Kokusan BB1105 units but maybe one of these will fit:
from France

same from Germany

Surely there're many shops for scooter parts in the UK as well. I'd try there.

Just beware that the mounting slot is on the long side, not in a 90° angle and close to a corner.
This one for example may not work as the mounting bracket it's installed on is probably too short.

But again, check the dimensions of the Kokusan CDI units first.

Either double sided foam tape or velcro with adhesive backing.
Real long shot but I did have some of those left from when I parted my 900ss, and I cant remember what happened to them,so let me have a rummage .....they may have gone with the modules.
I wish I was young again............Id be heaps smarter than last time
