New Corbin seat

Arrived yesterday morning. It weighs twice as much as the original but looks three times as good. Black leather / vinyl with red piping and an Italian flag on the sidestand side. Little Corbin name tag on the rear - fits VERY snugly and should be comfortable. The blurb says 1,500 miles to mould to the riders backside - so I'll keep you all posted.

I hope to put a few miles on the clock over the festive period, as long as it stays dry(ish).
I keep opening the garage and looking at it, heaven knows why a seat can make perfection look even better!

At the risk of this becoming a one man thread or me being accused of talking to myself, just one word of caution - the seat height has risen by about 2cm and if you are already struggling with reach this might be important....
But it is brilliant and holds you in place.
I won't post again until somebody else does!

Thanks for the feedback. I ordered a Corbin seat a few weeks ago and have been monitoring this thread since you wrote it. I've heard that the Corbin seat DOESN'T push the rider forward like the stock seat.
I'm 6-1 with a 32" inseam (don't know how that converts to metric...) so seat height isn't an issue but I don't want to be too much higher than I already am. We'll see..... :ugh:

I bought the Corbin seat early this year. I have to admit I bought it mostly for the looks, however I have been very happy with the seating postion. I am 6' with a 32" inseam and the fit is much better than the stock seat. It keeps the boys from getting crushed on the tank.

I also have a corbin on my 907 as well as my 888.
They are pretty nice. I have been thinking about ordering a new one for the 907. the current one has a lot of miles on it!

The corbin seat certainly provides a bit moreprotection for the wedding tackle!

Wedding tackle? Hmmm, that term reminds me of the "Austin Powers" movies from a few years ago. I recall him referring to his genetalia as his "twig & berries and bits & pieces."
Over here in the Colorado portion of the good 'ol US of A we call 'em cajones. Never mind the guy in the middle, it's his buddies Lefty and Righty that need looking after! :laugh:

Being in Palm Beach, you might give thought to contacting Corbin factory store in Daytona. they will send your seat to factory to be remanufactured to as new. Don't recall percentage of new that they charge, but is a savings.
