Looks like the cans story has one happy ending. My saga will commence on Saturday when the 907 goes for it's annual service and check up at Ducati Bristol. I may need to stuff some cotton wol in the pipes first!!! MOT = new quiet exhausts I fear

Hi everybody,
I've seen the Quill exhaust website.
The silencers seem very nice.
But, they don't build exhausts for 907 or Paso.
Which you think to buy? 900ss or st2 and wich modifications will have to make for the fitment on 907?
My worry is that the fitment can give some problem to the engine or therefore don't give more hp as promised.
Ciao
Francesco

Fransesco, if change only exhaust, NEVER get more hp, if DONT change also richer fuel. If want more hps, NEED also adjust more fuel! Hps dont come without more fuel. I mean richer fuel/air ratio now.... Power come FROM fuel ratio, etc, Not ONLY from exhaust.... "salesmens talks", if get more hps only changing pipes without tuning fuel

Surely, Rogero, but it can be, that soon U bike dont go at all, cause it have burned exhaust valves, if You dont adjust richer mixture with open exhaust ! I have seen some such Ducati engines and i dont want such to my babies :ugh: I think, that changing to open exhaust means ALLWAYS also fuel ratio adjustment(in 907IE case new map to EPROM). If someone feels other way, it would be nice to hear that more :D

I'll let you all know when I get her back on Saturday. She's got the correct "bits" in for the replacement cans and hasn't let me down in the 8 months I've had her. Surely if there's a problem those nice people at the Ducati shop will tell ( charge ) me !?

I have faith.
