Fork oil level
Looking at changing the oil in my MIR forks, manual states 160mm for oil level. Is that measured from the top of the tube with the front wheel off the ground? And both forks the same? thanks.

Re: Fork oil level
It is measured with the springs out and the forks fully compressed. The manual I have says 180mm ??

10Wt, but I haven't ridden it yet, its a work in progress. FYI its approximately 375mls per side, I just used a 5ml syringe with a piece of aquarium tubing cut 180mm long and sucked out the excess.

Re: Fork oil level
more to this, I have ridden the beast and all is well, but the forks seem a little harsh. Scrolling through other threads am I correct in the idea that 10WT oil in the left leg and 5WT in the right might improve things? I currently am running 10W in both. thanks guys
