I've been recently collecting info and this is what I found:

MP Italy 12V-2335 (installed i.e. in the Lancia Delta Integrale)
Valvar 2335
Italamec 218 / 609
Valeo 643820 (= Italamec)

Equivalent to the following parts:
000067464 (Ducati)
800067464
28740231A (Husqvarna)
313320106 (Innocenti)

according to one internet source:
Italamec was bought out by Magna Electronics in 2007 and this relay that was commonly used in several Italian vehicle applications (Lamborghini, Maserati and Ducati to name a few) hasn't been produced for the past 11 years
Stein Dinse lists the relay which looks like the Italamec
https://www.stein-dinse.biz/product_inf ... iWmaxF815M

There's also a german company Wittrin Electronic Germany which makes a replacement. Just search 'wittrin electronic 609' on ebay. They sell them as a pair. (of course the fuse installed can be replaced with a smaller one)

Then there's a BITRON B047 12V-2335 (see last pic) which can be found in some Alfa Romeos like the 156, 164 or 1990 Spider as relay for the a/c, cooling fan or hazard lights. It looks the same as the others but has a resistor between contacts 85 and 86. Where are the electronic experts who can say what difference this resistor makes and if this relay is suitable as a replacement as well?

G.

If hard to find such relay, it is very easy to put line fuse holder and suitable fuse to it, as that fuse is only IN SUPPLY SIDE of relay main wire to relay contacts. This is not anykind "rocket sientics" at all

It's not hard as you can order it from Stein Dinse (with some delivery time) and you can find the one from Wittrin and Valeo (Italamec), too. No problem. ;)

A normal dual outlet relay in combination with an inline fuse would work as well. The question is if one would want to cut into the wiring harness. To some electrics is witchcraft. ;)

There is no any need to CUT original wires, as easy to make such "connection wire" with suitable connectors between original wiring and that relay and if need to chnge to normal wiring, then only take that "connection wire" away and viola, then its again normal wiring. I have been over 42 years as elecrician, so i know very well those all connector types and how to get then to work together. Gerhard: Dont You belive me now?

Antti, I never had any doubts in you. I just didn't think about that possibility. How would you do it? Remove the connector from the relay socket and connect the 'connection wire' to that?
