Upgrading front fork springs

The front fork seals were leaking so I decided to take the forks apart, last week by chance a set of HyperPro progressive springs came up for £27.00 inc postage bargain! . I have today stripped the forks and cleaned them out ready for reassemble. I am just waiting for the new seals to arrive and after reasssemble will Report how the forks are.

That was one of the first things I've done. The fork felt better and more responsive with the Hyperpro kit. I'm assuming you will remove the complete fork legs from the bike?

You should remove the stanchion tubes from the bike as it's much safer to install the oil seals from the top. If you do it from the bottom there are several small edges you have to push the seals over and with each one you risk damaging the sealing lip.
I guess you know you'll need a different weight fork oil as that is stated also in the instructions.
The springs I installed with the stanchion tubes on the bike as it was easier to get the screwed caps back on.

Just a suggestion:
I have replaced and cleaned my forks several times. I have a new set of 907 fork seals in a drawer. I don't use them anymore. I use 900SS seals from the same model year or later. I installed the 900SS seals more than five years ago and still no leaks.The original 907 fork seals leak very easily. The 900SS seals are the same inside diameter and outside diameter. They are however a little taller stacked beside each other. The seals have a rubberize coating on them so I cut/filed this coating from the bottom down to the metal. Also there is a washer that goes in with the original installation, I omitted that. The retaining clip ring will now seat and hold the seal in place. Then use the standard dust boot. Just take a look at the 900SS seals compared to the 907 seals and you will see why they don't leak. They are visually more robust than the 907 seals.

I did buy original seals as some of the pattern ones had bad reviews. I did take the fork legs off the bike to fit the seals.
