Looking for Paso 750 Oscam 16" wheels & tools

Post by Hifimoto »

Hello to everyone,

thank you for acceptance to the forum. I’m a new owner of the 750 Paso / 1987. I’ll be doing light restoration of the bike in the following months.

For the first step I’m looking for a original 16” Oscam black&brushed wheels in the best possible condition: straight, without corrosion in the brushed parts and without scratches. I know I’m probably too idealistic… but, maybe someone did the conversion to the 17” wheels and don’t need some nice wheels anymore.

I’m also looking for the original manual book and tools/bag.

Thanks for any offers!

Hi,

There are currently a few people selling Paso wheels in the Netherlands:

1.) https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/motoren/on ... 550186a3a3

2.) https://www.marktplaats.nl/v/motoren/on ... 7fce9b8754

3.) Further I checked www.ebay.it and there are several ads in which people offer Paso wheels (look for 'Ducati Paso Oscam').

It should not be a problem to find a set, however not sure whether you can avoid corrosion after all these years. Nevertheless, there's a few topics on this forum on how to restore the two-tone paint scheme of the Oscam wheels.

Good luck!

Roland,

thank you for the links and the help! I previously found them on ebay.it and I'm in contact whit sellers... I didn't know for the Netherlands links. Many thanks for that! I already read the forum topics... and of course this will be the way if I can't find them in good condition.

I got the wheels... the front from Germany, the rear from Italy. They are way better than mine, almost no oxidation, but of course they have some marks from the usage.

If somebody will have some nice black/diamond cut wheels in the future, I'll be nevertheless interested 😎.
