88 Paso throttle cable

Post by Lionel »

After finding and receiving a Weber 44 DCNF-113 thanks to Dave73.
I've contacted the local Ducati dealer to get new cables choke and throttle and found they are no longer available. Even googled with no luck. Any one know of a suitable replacement

Hi Lionel.

This is from Italy (I assume 906 and 750 fitting the same cable) :

I found mine at https://www.stein-dinse.biz/ . Throttle cable was item #400520157 and choke cable was item #037054130-Z. Both fit/work perfectly and were pretty inexpensive.

I had my throttle cable made up by Motion Pro: https://www.motionpro.com/ I sent in my old ones and in 2 weeks got replacements. Good luck! :^)

I'll second Motion Pro. I've bought from them for other projects and always good quality and properly made. Only down side is you can't ride while you're waiting for cables, and if he doesn't have any old ones for patterns ...
