almost 2 months into owning this bike. I've done some mods that are described on this site and forth e most part the bike runs quite well. I still have air in the clutch issues' after riding for a while pressure builds in the line and the clutch starts to slip. Never had so much trouble bleeding a hydraulic system. new banjo bleeders for the slave and master on the way for that, but anyway back to the eprom post. I decided to see which chip was in the box since the airbox is open (sounds great by the way) and the exhaust (brand??) i don't know sound great also.
it has a stage 2 FBF chip F05005 which was installed 8/94 this is for high compression pistons. PO didn't mention that so is there a way to tell without pulling the head? i would think not but maybe there is?? Anyway just thought I'd put it out there and see.
Thanks for reading.

Re: eprom
I dunno about changing the chip to suit hi comp pistons ,I would have thought that if one was to arse about changing pistons surely you would go for the big bore kit.

Google Borescopes and inspection cameras.
