Shindengen SH847 regulator

Wondering if anybody has installed a Shindengen SH847 regulator. It's much bigger than the OEM unit. If so where did you install it on the bike. A rough look suggests there isn't enough room in the oem position.

Not exact same regulator but had same problem, put mine under left rear sidcover close to the battery.

Thats a logical spot and my thinking is I will do the same. Where did you run the stator wires?

Hi.
Sorry, it is years ago so i dont remember exactly but i belive it was along the frame rails.
Found a picture with the new placement of the regulator but dont remember how to post it on the board
