I am not very good at electrical work. Can’t really make sense of electrical diagrams. That being said. 1992 907ie out riding died, fuel pump quit. Got home checked fuses with a meter all good. Removed relays put power to them all seem to function. Removed the tank and put power to the pump it works. Now to the thing I don’t understand.
With the key off all 4 wire to the pump/level unit have 13v(violet ,black, blue, yellow)
That is red meter lead on battery + black meter lead on each plug connector. The way I read that is all those wires go to ground. Makes no sense to me but then again I’m not good at this. Same result with the relays pull.
With the key on yellow 6.06v, blue .233v black 12.23v violet 12.3v. Any ideas where to go from here would be awesome.
Thanks Phil

Re: Electrical help please.
Update is that the relays work on the bench not in the bike.

Todays findings. Not sure where pin 85 gets ground from to pull in the contact . That’s what is not happening.

Re: Electrical help please.
Fuel Pump is grounded through the ECU. If you are lucky you can repair the ecu. otherwise you'll need a replacement.
used to have a picture of the ECU circuit in question but no idea where it is

Re: Electrical help please.
Thanks all the reply’s . Thanks higgy for that thought.
I’ve been through every connection and switch which all seem ok. Grounds are all clean and dielectric greased. Haven’t found and corroded connections. Yesterday I thought about the ecu being the problem but was hoping I missed something easy. Found a place Carmo Electronics that is suppose to be able to repair ecu’s . I sent them an email see what happens.

Re: Electrical help please.
Fixed. The connector on the ECU was a bit pulled on one side. I pulled the connector and put it back on. Zip tied it so that it couldn’t happen again. Wish I’d have gone to that sooner.

On all the Paso's it is wise to check every connection before replacing parts

Good work fvee3. Ive had my project 907 for a year and I am amazed at how many electrical problems Ive had. Mine had sat for who knows how long which is never a good place to start. But hopefully I will get it sorted soon.

Re: Electrical help please.
As I was reading your posts I was about to suggest looking at the plug into ECU. Happened to me years ago. The bike just quit. I did the same as you, started checking everything and just so happened I was working on something and saw the plug hanging out. Push back in and all worked. I too used a zip tie to hold the plug in just like you did. There is one other plug that can do the same thing. It's a white plug on the left side tied to the frame rail with another plug at just about the back of the tank. If it comes unplugged the bike will not start.
