My battery light is coming on/going off and sometimes flickering while running 2,500 to 4,000 RPM. It does not come on at idle. I checked voltage and I'm getting 13.14 at idle and voltage keeps climbing as I get up to 4,000 RPM, would probably keep going higher with higher RPMs. I figure voltage regulator has gone bad and over charging. The regulator is not the original. I believe it's something like a electrix brand.
What brand should I get for a replacement. Don't need a super-duper, just a good regulator.
Thanks

Re: Bad Voltage Regulator?
I would go here and check out what they have. I chose SHINDENGEN.
