Hi All,

I've got a minor issue in which the ring float within the fuel tank doesn't float anymore. As a result the reserve fuel light remains on.

Has anyone got any advise on how to (home) fix the float or whether there's any reasonable pump, filter and float kits out there to renew it all?

I've temporarily looped the sensor wire around the ring float to stop it from dropping which keeps the reserve light off.

I purchased a newer model sender (part 59210161A) which supposedly fits \ works with this model from a retired parts seller in the Netherlands. He's got old parts needing to be cleared out and well priced considering what other people are charging. Parts haven't arrived yet but they appear honest and know what they're doing.

I've already purchased the NOS screen and sender but he's got more parts than whats listed. Worth asking if you're currently looking for anything specific.
