Auxillary Venturis

Hi - I am trying to get my 750 Paso Weber (44 DCNF - 110) carb running smoothly. It has stock jets, so I ordered 150 mains and 60 idle jets.

It has 3,5 auxiliary venturis and I am thinking about 4.5 ones.

Are they the same as the 44 IDF 71102?
Best place to buy them?

Thanks
Pete

Thanks for the quick reply. I am using your recommended jetting from your Sun Feb 13, 2022 7:10 pm post; did you make any changes after that?

Thanks

PS: Great articles in MC; are you going to do any more?

Was not aware that the IDF version fit the DCNF......Good call

How do the tall vents work on the 750 setup ?

Nah , me neither . Just seemed to obvious for no one not to mention it so far , specially as there were a few peeps poking around that area a while ago .
๐Ÿ˜I do feel duty bound to add a pair of them to my ever expanding pile of paso bits under the bench tho ๐Ÿ˜

Higgy, the auxiliary venturis I used (as per the ebay link) are not the tall ones, but another Paso rider had used them successfully so I figured I'd try them. I should note that I have no point of comparison with the originals as one was broken when I got my bike and started the process of fitting the Weber. But since everything I'd read here and elsewhere suggested the 4.5s as a smart change, I went for them. And they were a perfect fit, no issues. And NMPete, no, I haven't changed any jetting since the Feb. 13, 2022 post. That said, went for a ride two days ago and I was getting a somewhat pronounced off-idle hesitation. Moving from a stop, if I didn't give a bit of gas it wanted to drop on its face a bit. Fuel/air mixture? Outside of that, running absolutely beautifully at all rpms/loads. I love this bike. And thanks for the kind words NMPete, might have more on the Paso in the future, but right now I'm working on the 1967 Wards Riverside 250 (nee Benelli) I picked up. It's a hoot!

Late update, but fattened up the fuel/air mixture, out 2 full turns from 1-1/4 and much, much better. Idle is a little fluffy (is that a legit description?) but the pronounced off-idle hesitation seems gone. I just wish you could carry out carb adjustments without having to remove the fairing and tank. What a pain.
