new Paso 1987

Hi Guys,
Been awhile but just picked up a 87 and a very nice bike indeed with some nice little mods. It has a set of Answer mufflers which I was not familiar with but nice sound. The only issue is the paint has faded to a nice Laverda orange almost. The bike has 19K on it but was always inside unless being ridden. Couple of places that are always covered such as the lower back of the tank are normal red so did Ducati have problems with paint during 1987 production? Thanks Archie.
