Overheating

Post by Bonza »

Hi fellow members
I have had my 91- 907 for 25 years now and I took it to get the starter clutch replaced at my local Ducati whisperer. The starter is all fine now but it now overheats. I have replaced the thermostato ( ha ha ) and it is still overheating. I was wondering if when he had the cases apart whether something got plugged or blocked in the water passages. There is no air in the system. We have a gadget at work that sucks out all the air and directly injects the coolant. Any advise or ideas would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

really sounds like you've got a slug of air in the system, but i'd bring it back to the dealer regardless.
