Bad Bearing

I went to inspect the belts and and found this bad bearing so far. The outer race and cover @ bottom of chamber. 6mm key passes easily and time for new belts installation. Gentlemen: can I replace this bearing easily? It still rotates freely. I removed the circlip hoping the bearing would slide off. It did not. :^) Advice on removal is what I seek please. Also does anyone know of access to the specification or would I just take the bearing to a supplier for that? Thank you thank you in advance for your time and your thoughts!

Hi.
The bearing should have a number stamped in the outer race. Another spot to look is the Sein Dinse parts and photo web site. They did have the bearing there when I was looking for them. They are pretty common bearing. You will need to remove the assembly and use a punch to knock it through. Once you get the new bearings (from memory there are two), a touch of grease and knock them back on. A sleeve that fits over the pin and sits neatly over the inner race is best to use rather than just bash away. An old socket would do the job.

You'll need to remove the tensioner/bearing assembly and then pull/drive the bearing free. Bevel Heaven stocks them. That bearing is knackered!

That was a rubber sealed bearing, the bearing number was probably moulded into the rubber seal, if you need to identify it you can either use steine dinse or another supplier.
