Hello

can anyone tell me where I could find rebuild kits for Brembo P4 32/32mm calipers as fitted to the 89" 900 supersports please.

I have been doing a search but having a lot of trouble finding anything. I understand that these calipers where also fitted to the early 851 models(not the Tri-colour) however there are different codes for the oem part kit from Ducati. They quote 61240031a however there are also a kit 61240031d.
I can't work out what the different numbers mean but it could refer to the piston length.
My research tells me that the 851 with the same calipers had disc rotors of 320mm diameter and 5mm thick. My disc rotors are 300mm diameter and I measure mine at 4mm thick. The disc aren't that worn. So are the 89 supersport disc 4mm or as the workshop manual I have says 5mm thick with max wear to 4.5mm as mine measure 4mm who is right?? Is t workshop manual wrong! What would happen if I did get the the 851 kit and the pistons are shorther -- if I get one at all.

Any help would be good.

thanks
chuckozzie

Hi Higgy
thanks for the reply.
I checked their site and they don't sell/stock any rebuild kits for the 1989/90 900 supersports. The calipers are P4 32a. These have 32mm pistons. The search continues.
cheers

Hi.
There is a crowd called Powerhouse in England who put together seal kits for all sorts. I purchased a couple of sets for the 907 goldline calipers and a Triumph a few years back. Do a search on eBay for Ducati 907 brake seal and they come up. They post worldwide.
Cheers.
Nick.
