Well Hello strangers hope you are all well it's been a while since I posted on here and don't know how many of you still look in as I do?

I have a question on an item for sale on flEbay

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/296552634790 ... media=COPY

No it's not about the price although I do have a left and right in the same condition

It's about the little bag with the three washers and nuts.

I don't have the packaged items in the original boxes with mine, I have a sneaky suspicion they are for the plate that sits on the fairing that the mirror clips onto? Or were the earlier versions on the 750 fitted different as mine are for a 907ie

Just curious All the Best ride safe and HELLO again.

I think the 907 came with the plate and the mirror clipped on. In the event of an accident, or someone needing a replacement, they pop off rather than being ground off by gravel. I’m pretty sure my 750 has a couple of studs going through the fairing with nuts and washers on the inside. Pretty sure the 906 is the same as the 750.
Cheers.
Nick.

Ha ha yeah if you needed a new one just pop it off someone else's Paso . I didnt know they clipped on untill I had unbolted one . I spose the wiring harness may act as a tether , I mean its handy that they pop off instead of "getting ground off by gravel" ( :D ) but if it goes bouncing off into the bush for ever your not really any better off

I did have a UK spec 906 for a while and that had the same plates on as my 907 so maybe it was just the 750 as the buyer states. Interestingly it seems the Cagiva Freccia which was about around the same time with similar mirrors as the 750 had the bolt on type.
