Does anyone have comments about the different sizes of cans? They make a "small" and "large" oval--any differences in sound/performance/or other?

I have looked at those for a while, but balked at the 759.00 pricetag(im only into my 907 for 2500.00 and she's alot of fun just as she is)

according to the two bro's info the sound/etc is the same, just a size thing for different sized bikes

Different size of bikes??? So, does that mean, 907 needs those bigger ovals and 750 smaler ones ??? My opinion is, that if put smaler diameter pipes=not so much that material, what takes noise away= more that lovely sound!... and larger diameter=more that material=not so good ;-( Or, do they mean header diameter??? I know well, that original 750 Paso have smaller diameter headers, than 907IE, but my 750 came to Finland with those bigger headers, like in 907IE (and 750 Limited) .....

Im not sure, but thats what the website says, that usually the smaller cans go on the 600's and the 750/900's get the larger cans

see their ad here: http://www.twobros.com/cgi-bin/shopper? ... 907ie.html

the bottom of the ad describes the can sizes and says the "power core" is the same for both size cans

I think, they are quite right and when i look closer those they drawings about pipes, i can see, that material, what takes noise away, is quite same amount of it in both, C2 and C5. That can explane also, that they sound is very close, but i think, that 600/620/750 engines need that smaler one C2, but to 907IE and other "big case modells" need that C5. That C2 modell can be too small to "900" case engines, if we are thinking, how engine should breath.... At least, if have done modifications to engine, like porting, K & N, open airbox, etc..... Btw, wondering; Why they try sell those C2(also) to 907 and they say, that C2 is for small engines???

I think that their "power core" is what "breathes" and should be the same for performance sake however it is more of an appearance thing as i too would put the C5 size cans on my 907 if i went with those.i think the C2 version is just too small in dimensions to look correct. i think that both sizes probably flow or "breathe" the same.

I think, C5 breath better, cause it have bigged diameter inside hole(pipe). But surely that must be in connection to engine cc.

Maybe.... but from their own ad :

We offer two distinct canister shapes to choose from; C2 (small oval) and C5 (large oval). Both of the canisters perform and sound the same because both of the canisters feature the same 2.25" Stainless Steel Spiral Power Core. The core is what controls the power and sound, not the shape or material of the canister.

The canisters are simply different styles. They both incorporate our exclusive technology and premium construction material. The different exterior shapes allows you to choose the one that best fits the style of your motorcycle. For instance most people prefer the C2 (small oval) with smaller sized motorcycles (like 600cc machines) while others prefer the C5 (large oval) with larger sized motorcycles (like 750cc or 1000cc machines).

doug(who wishes the carbonfiber C5's were a lot less than 759.00 $)
