Aftermarket Exhaust - 750 vs. 907

Post by jfiore »

Pardon my ignorance, but does anyone know if slip-on exhausts that are designed for the 907ie will fit the 750 Paso? I am not sure of the header diameter of the 907, or if there are any exhaust or body geometry differences that would affect fit.

Two Brothers lists slip-on exhausts for the 907 in aluminum, carbon and titanium - it would be nice if they fit the Paso!

First check, what is YOUR 750 Pasos headers diameter!!!! ????? All 907 have same, but there are at least 2 differend 750 Paso headers, so check that first.... If You have same, as in 907, then quite easy to solve problems, but if U have those "california"or USA small headers in Your Paso, then U have problems to find new cannisters

Exhaust Headers - 907 vs. 750

Post by jfiore »

OK, I measured my Paso's headers, and they are 40mm in diameter. Are the headers of the 907 also 40mm?

Thanks for any info that anyone can provide!

Yes, they are 40mm also in 907IE! So, You can put near all mufflers, what You can find to 907IE. I have noticed small dimension differences between my 750Paso and my 907IE:s frames, so i cant quarantee 100% fitments, but i havent had big problems to change mufflers from 907 to 750 Paso and via versa.... Btw, many USA modell 750 Pasos have smaler diameter headers.....and also smaler holes in mufflers ends.

Hi Finnpaso,
Do you so many so you are interested in selling a pair ?
Im living in Denmark and have just bought a Paso 750 from UK.
But they are very loud - that I can not have the bike registered in Denmark - not before I have new silencers.
I come to Helsinki several times a year - do you live in that erea ?
Kind regards,
Jacob

+1 on that ... I'm still running the stock Silentiums and would like to find a nice pair of after markets, myself. So if any of you hoarders ever decide to sell of a pair or two, let me know! :D
Just because you're not dead doesn't necessarily mean you're living, either.
