Re: Trim under headlight
Ive just had a look at this piece of trim and its nothing more than a bit of flat black plastic the same shape as the hole , with a raised ridge ( about 3mm ) length wise down the middle , and two stud looking things sticking out the back to mount it . I think that if you made one from a bit of blac...

Re: Trim under headlight
Have you tried buying new ? You could be surprized . I just got 2x Lh and 2 x Rh blinker lenses and a tail light lens and 2 of them plastic chain guide things that fit on swing arm and foot peg rubbers.I am thinking of making a twin headlight thing just to preserve the original as I couldnt find one...

Re: 1990 906 Paso (Rescued from a Friend)
I didnt even rebuild my rear shock , just stripped and cleaned and reassembled using new shock oil , made a big difference . Have you tried using a water blaster to clean parts ( or put them in the dishwasher .  ... dont get caught doing this , take it from me , it aint worth it !) ?...

Re: Owners Manual
I got the ducati factory manual from an outfit in aus ( gowanloch Ducati ) . It is an unbound a4 folder ( in 4 languages ) but it has everything you need .Cost me nz$40, but I would be happy to e-mail pages with whatever spec's you need if that helps. The itallian / english translation is a bit fluff...

Re: paso rear shock
I have a set of mikuni's off the SS which I had intended to fit on the paso( while I found the money to do up the SS motor ) using the SS manifolds , and I now know ( thanks Tamburinifan ) that seperate k&n's are the way to go .Sinse the paso is only ever going to be used on the road I'll probly...

Re: I have a 1990 750 sport, what are the ods?Now lets get tires
Ha Ha ha , yeah your right , but 20 years aint much ,I have socks and undies that old ! and anyhow I like those fat little donuts .When I first got the paso I thought that it was by far the best handling bike i'd ridden ( once I'd got the knack ) and put most of that down to the tires, then I got th...

Re: 1990 906 Paso (Rescued from a Friend)
gumbotz , your paso looks a bit like mine at the moment, body work all off. One thing that I found very helpful is some sort of bench / table to get the bike up off the floor a couple of feet , makes life easier ( I made mine out of a piece of our fence )

Re: I have a 1990 750 sport, what are the ods?Now lets get tires
this tire thing , to me is just a big piss off , I think there is a bit of bullshit going on here . A very quick look at Falloon's bible tells me there were 9733 paso's and sports and 400ss ( 461 ) made, Now I dunno what percentage of these have not been smashed off the road by errant car drivers :P...

Re: paso rear shock
There is nothing wrong with the paso motor , needs the valve guides done soon and the clutch slave cyl piston is giving me grief but apart from that it just hasnt been used since I got the SS , mostly cos it needs painted . The plan was to paint the paso , ride it , and do up the SS motor ( 95 mm pi...
