Re: 750 Sport Clutch Cover and Slave Seal
Yeah , I think the clutch could do with a re-think ( he says 30 years after they actually did :P ). After one fits the modern slave cyl ..... or sorts the original ( its usually the bearing in the original that gives up )..... I been thinkin about the pressure plate and the spigot on it , and I thin...

Re: 750 Sport Clutch Cover and Slave Seal

Re: Front Tire Change
I use the centre stand and put some weight on the back of the seat to lift front off ground . You could put the car jack under the front of the motor too.( I used to sit it under the front header pipe . I never had an issue but its the old story ... wouldn't recommend it and don't tell anybody I did...

Re: Fuel tank fitment
To get the position right Id probly mock the whole thing up ( with headlight fitted )with the tank just sitting on the mount and get everything sitting as you want it and then tack it with a mig welder . When I did mine I didnt bother fixing the cracks ,I just welded right round the edge of the patc...

Re: Fuel tank fitment
Mine too , I cut the mount right off , beat into shape and welded in a bit of 1/8th steel plate about 4 inches square ( cant remember exactly what size it was ) , trimmed the 1/8th off the mount and welded it back on . The whole weight of the fairing and 1/2 the tank hangs offa that mount.

Re: 1989 750 Sport idle issue
I have a notion that an injected pump would poke out about 60 psi and if that was hooked to the weber .... return line or not , the carb would look like a fountain ![ ](./images/smilies/grin.gif)

Re: 1989 750 Sport idle issue
the stock pump is ok . There should be a T in the fuel line at the carb , one line off the T goes to the carb , the other is a return line to the tank ( should be 3-4mm id). The length of the return line determines the restriction of the return line . Basically the longer the return line the higher ...
