Re: different jetting on weber

Yes, I picked up a plastic quart (500 ml) paint cup, with threads on the bottom. Screwed in a brass fitting with a nipple and ran the gas line to the cup. I tapped the cup to the frame around the bottom fitting and that allowed me to ride with the fuel tank and fairings off. Works good for testing, ...

Re: 1990 750 Sport Rebuild

You want the soda to really blast out of the nozzle or it has little effect on the blasting. After the good results my son and I have been having we more than likely will build a better rig. Maybe some of the industrial sized soda? The Arm and Hammer baking soda may be too fine? Jon, There may be a...

Re: starter motor issue and removal?

Nigel, I purchased my alternator wrench from an ebay seller from your neck of the woods for 78.00 au. His ebay id is discusprinlo. If you do not want to purchase the wrench I have removed the alternator using the below method. Wrap your alternator with lots of duct tape. Pick up a chain strap wrench...

Re: 1990 750 Sport Rebuild

Be careful when replacing structural bolts with stailless as they are not as strong and can/will break under load. I would NOT replace caliper bolts with anything but the exact replacement... For soda blasting, I will be making this rig.: http://www.aircooledtech.com/tools-on-the-cheap/soda_blaster...

Re: 1990 750 Sport Rebuild

Uk wise its bloody cold and threatening more snow ...going outside to start repairs on workshop roof (in the cold). Decided after reading the various posts to leave the sport I have ori...

Re: 1990 750 Sport Rebuild

Thanks paso750, When I was polishing them they appears to be of some alloy. If they start to rust I will just replace them with stainless.

Cheers

Re: 1990 750 Sport Rebuild

Well, It rained most of the week-end, so any chance of powder coating and painting parts went out the window. I am waiting for some small 1" buffing wheels to come in the post so I could not do much buffing. I spent the first part of the week-end washing, cleaning and buffing some smaller parts...

Re: Adopters between 320mm rotors and 750 Paso M1R?

Finn, Here are a few jpg's that I created for you. First shot is a custom bracket that was made for me for my 750 sport. These were hand made brackets without drawings so I do not have exact measurements. Second image is a drawing I made on 2mm spaced graph paper. The fork brackets are spaced vertic...

Re: 1992 907 IE for sale local craigslist

Really, she's asking me to buy a new car, because mine would be too old... I don't care at all about the cars: I need the car to work, the bike to have fun Francesco, If your wife wants you to buy a new car, make a deal with her, tell her you will save her money and that you will buy a slightly use...
