Re: Top Speed??
Interesting - i have only riden my sport in anger at a track here in NZ and on a straight of approx 300m it would touch 120mph (indicated) before i had to hit the brakes - which is only 192kph. perhaps if you could hold on for a lot longer it might get near 205kph or so? I would think your ST4 would...

Re: Weight 750 S vs. 750 SS
i have removed all the road gear of my '89 sport, carbon muffler (only one as it's now 2 into 1) and stripped the wiring harness to what's only needed to race/ride at club meetings and track days, copy of F1 single seat & half faring - and with no fuel but oil and i weighed it - 177kgs.

My guess is that they are made of stainless, but i'll see when they arrive. who still makes cast iron discs today? I've since found that EBC also make replacement discs for the paso/sport.

Re: Brake pads
Hi Mike, i currently have EBC pads fitted and the brakes are also pretty poor. Maybe the original brembo compound would be better. i have a warp in one of my discs as well so makes it even worse. I contacted Steve at Bevelheavan last week re same kit you are talking about and he is out of stock of t...

Re: Fuel Pump
For those interested and maybe wanting or have to fit a new fuel pump, here is what and how I fitted this Mikuni vacuum pump. Works really well and made a big difference to the fuel delivery. http://i610.photobucket.com/albums/tt188/Mustang506/Bikesandothers005.jpg http://i610.photobucket.com/albums...

Re: Fuel Pump
Hey Angelix
i have mamaged to find a Mikuni DF52-136 here in NZ and hope to have it here sometime this week. it's a dual outlet so i'll just add a T piece. At 30l/hr I will go for the 2nd T piece for a return line to the tank. Thanks for your help.
