TMV (Dutch Golden tyre representative) says not before end May.
Keep your fingers crossed....

Re: New tires ?
Hi I'm trying to get more info on the delivery here in The Netherlands. I have contacted TMV in Veghel who are the distributor for golden tyres in the Netherlands (more dirt bike orientated). I have asked them if they could deliver these tyres and askthem to ask golden tyre when these come available...

Hi,
On the 600 single exhaust I can tell the diameter is smaller compared to the system we have.
Good luck fixing your bike!

Re: Clunck-oilspill-engine-no-more
Not much, Like I said: cracked rotor which dislocated the altenator and that cracked the side cover. I do not know why the rotor got cracked in the first place but I did put it on so I think I have only myself to blame.... I currently looking at the orignal 750s engine the bike came with. I'm planni...

Re: What sort of wheels are these?
Hi, Thanks for pointing that out to me about the pintch-bolt. Your right. I have never noticed this. I have looked only at the adjuster plates and the way the huger is mounted and concluded it was a modified 750S swingarm. But now I known that also the pinch bolt area is different in construction. I...

Re: What sort of wheels are these?
Hi Ducinthebay, Your so lucky to have that rare documentation!!!! I can not find such a manual. Are you sure about the swingarm? To me (on fotos) they look like modified 750 sport swingarms. The 900 ss swingarm is much wider than the 750 sport so it can pivot in the much wider 900 engine as you alre...

Hi,
Too bad... Is it on both cilinders? Did you by accident disturb some other system (electrics) with the last repairs?
Hope you will find it soon...
Regards Joep

Re: Cluth Problems
Hi Simon, I had the same problem some time ago and it had to be ordered. But it was still available. You will find the part number in the 750 s parts manual is the same as for the 906 (=066516703) and will fit the your 900 ss. Most dealer do not have micro fische or books for this bike so when i ord...

OK,
Got the cover off and found a crack alternator rotor, which had seized the engine. How can this happen?
Cheers Joep

Re: Clunck-oilspill-engine-no-more
Hi,
Found out that the alternator cover was cracked. Suspect a run loose flywheel. It was me who torqued up and loctited the nut the last time....
Normally I do not use a puller to get the cover off. This time I will need one but I first have to make one.
Speak to you soon.
Joep

Hi,
Just want to share this with all of you.
Today I was riding through town when suddenly CLUNCK the engine seized at once. I stopped in the street and the oil was dripping on the pavement.
I think I need some time in the shed...
Cheers Joep
