Re: Guide bushings on 907 ie M1R forks
Just a follow up on the parts for our M1R forks. I have identified and installed 2 more parts that are no longer available from Ducati. These are exact Marzocchi parts as used on both the BMW K1100LT and 907ie and are readily available through any BMW dealer. Item #16 in the picture below: Ducati #8...

Re: My '91 907ie is complete!
Planning to attend the Duc rally at Mosport, May 29/30? I will be there but likely with my '96 SP as it is my track bike. We pit at the east end of the parking lot inside corner 1. Come by and say hello! My bike is #23. http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac130/pasolloyd/1991%20907ie/ducatipaso_org/...

Re: removing clutch master cylinder
My brother bought it new and when he bought something bigger in 1981, I bought it from him. That's where the "sort of" comes from.

Re: My '91 907ie is complete!
Thanks for the good words everyone! du907: The gold I used on the valve covers is just local hardware store metalic paint - nothing special. persempre907: Good eye mate! I didn't completely rebuild it in the dining room. Most of the work was done in the basement over the winter. I did the assembly o...

Re: Looking to buy 907ie
higgy, If you (or anyone else) are having hard starting problems on a 907, I strongly suggest to check the following: 1) With the engine off, remove the connector from the ECU. 2) Using a digital VOM, measure the resistance between pins #11 and #29 ON THE CONNECTOR (not the ECU). You should get arou...

My '91 907ie is complete!
Hi everyone, Here are some shots of the assembly and the completed bike. This was a complete tear-down right to the crankshaft. My Paso had low miles but suffered from neglect (and weather) in the hands of the previous owner. I may write a full description of the issues and what was done if anyone i...

Re: Pictures of 900 engine rebuild
Pics of a 916 engine repair/rebuild are up. Not paso specific, but related as the cases are virtually identical to the 907ie.

Pictures of 900 engine rebuild
I have a pile of pictures that show an engine dis-assembly, assembly process from my '96 900 SS. They are all high quality digital, but I have nowhere to post them. I think they would be of much interest to the group and welcome any suggestions as to where they can be posted. There are about 135 ima...

Re: Guide bushings on 907 ie M1R forks
Finnpaso: The upper bushing is item #19 on page TAV20 of the '92 907ie parts manual available on this site. This correponds to Ducati #34910031A, Marzocchi part #538037 and BMW part #31422310347. This is NOT the dust scraper - item #15. The oil seal or fork seal (or "Junk Ring") is item #1...

Tamburinifan:
Yes, there is definately only one aluminum "bushing". It is at the bottom of the spring in the left leg.

Re: Marzocchi bushing?
Here are some pics of my '91 907ie forks. I have tried to lay them out in the basic order that they go together starting with the caps and working inward. The seals and bushings are already installed in the sliders/stanchions and aren't really visible. The seals are 41.7 x 55 x 7.5/10 - Marzocchi #5...
