simple solution transfer to 180 bridgestone

Gents, my solution is an 180/60/zr16 bridgestone g704 with altered driveline. 5mm distance at the back end. In total 5mm at the front with an 851 sprocket (much thicker), see pics. First an alu plate for the exact offset and mounting with one bolt in the centre. Second plate has exactly enough room ...

Re: tank and top fairing for sale (NL)

Gents, got a chance to take pictures. It's an 750 tank. I believe of the earlier types because it has only one small tube underneath at the end. It's not in great condition, but complete with internal and fuelcap. The inside should be cleaned as well. Also the previous owner fitted an external breat...

Any chance of a few pics and details of the tyres and sprocket?
Sure, currently I'm overseas. In about two weeks I can post a few pics.

Re: Replacing starter sprag clutch

Hi, gents. A couple of years ago I replaced the sprag clutch with one of a mini '69 (small car). It'll cost you a lot less and it's 99,9% the same. Only the outer diameter (small lip on the casing) needs milling for 0,5mm in diameter. Since this will not move once installed I used a conventional dri...

Re: Paso 750 Rear Tire solution (160/60/16)

as Terry and I are discussing this topic offline here a short summary of our current thoughts: a sprocket like this would be nice, but according to Antti this could be from an early 750 Sport or similar and is quite rare. In fact I didnt find it listed ie at AFAM or JT sprockets. :( (if someone has...

Re: no click, no ugh, no nothing . . .

Got a simular problem. As you've noticed, begin your search by checking the starterbutton, then the starter relay etc. If you don't have a descent wiring diagram yet, I'm sure you'll find one on this forum. Also you need a tool to measure if circuits work. Dunno the english term. Here it is multimet...

front sprocket

Gents, currently I'm preparing my paso for fitment of the 180/60 zr 16 in the stock swingarm. Only thing I'm not sure of is the offset of the front sprocket. As you'll know we have a couple of options. I'd like to know your method and experience on the road. A few pictures would be great. Many tx.

Looks great. Be sure that the material of your plates match the basket. Alu plates and alu basket OR metal basket and metal plates.. For example metal basket with alu plates will shorten the "lifecycle" of your plates.. :cool:

Re: wheel bearing problem with 180/60/16

In theory there will be more torque on the bearings, due to the distance between the rear sprocket and the center of the wheel..

Formula momentum: M=r*F
M=momentum in newton·meter (N.m)
F=force on the object in newton (N)
r=distance in meters (m)

Re: wheel bearing problem with 180/60/16

rear sprocket offset has about no impact on the rear bearing as the wheel/axle is held in position on both sides by the swingarm. Did you use quality bearings ? (I bought a cheap no-name set for my Vespa engine some time ago and had to throw some away, although brand new as they didn`t run well.) A...

Re: wheel bearing problem with 180/60/16

Theoreticly the right bearing takes more momentum due to the extra 9mm offset of the rear sprocket. The amount can be calculated, but in my first opinion it should not make the difference between 50000km's or 500km's.. (if you know what I mean) Can you change the 9mm to for example 5mm? Don't worry ...
