Re: starter Solenoid issues

Is it a high enough current rating for the 907 ? Do you reckon the solenoid is the main restriction in the starter circuit (other than the load of the starter motor itself)? I seemed to go through a couple of solenoids until i swapped in a set of those big diameter starter cables... the only issue ...

Want to buy stickers for a 1991 907ie

Hi guys, I'm about to embark on repainting my '91 907ie and would like to source a set of the stickers (Ducati, Desmo, 907ie) etc that will be under a coat of clear on the final version. I can see a couple of providers around the world but wanted to know if anyone had had good experience with any pa...

Re: Tailor made 16" 5-spoke alloy rims (Campagnolo style)

This shouldn't be that hard... the custom Harley market does it a fair bit (admittedly usually heavy on the style and not on the performance). There's a company in Australia http://dragway.com.au/ that is known to do one off / limited edition wheels and with the EU to AU$ rate at the moment that mig...

Re: paso con mikunis 750,,,no funciona bien

Hello again, after getting my ducati Paso to work acceptably, began to fail, when I went from being dead, to get first gear and try to roll with it, began to fail and did not let up revolutions, was momentarily in a Cylinder. I have the impression that there is an electric fault that ends in a comb...

Re: paso con mikunis 750,,,no funciona bien

is not only a matter of Airflow, it could also be turbolence caused by the speed that is effecting the airflow I agree, you only have to meddle with a modern Japanese bike airbox and see how quickly you loose low speed throttle response or get strange flat spots. I remember fitting a GSXR1100 filte...

Re: Multi-blocks/connectors Paso ..... inventory

Hi, Did someone make an inventory of all multi-blocks/connectors used on the wiring loom? I will make some adjustments to the loom and am even considering making a fully new one. Good advise is always welcome! These guys were selling some NOS complete wiring harnesses a little while ago http://www....

Re: paso con mikunis 750,,,no funciona bien

what does "v & h in the air" mean? Except to the pilot jets it`s the original 750SS jetting used on an engine with an aftermarket 2in1 exhaust and foam filters on the Mikuni (without an airbox)? It is definitely running lean. I'd agree... without changing jets you could just restrict ...

Re: paso con mikunis 750,,,no funciona bien

To me this sounds like a tuning issue at high load, large throttle which lots of people have commented on the forum. have you read the tech article - http://forums.ducatipaso.org/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=705 (go down the page to the mikuni section) which will help you work out what you have and what ...

That's going to send the airport metal detector off the scale!! . Not so much if it's stainless, or even (which they do sometimes these days) titanium. At least mine never do... But that's a big ouch so wishing well for you for the recovery and can imagine it feels better already if only because ev...

Re: anodizing footpegs & brackets?

Apparently some shops say that anodizing these cast parts would not have a good result. G. Really? You need a nice clean and smooth surface to get a good effect but as long as the surface is pretty clear it should be fine. Any small ridges get "more" or "less" annodized (it's a ...
