Thanks for your note! Think that may be the best option for me as well. What did you use to shave off the metal? Looks like hardened steel in the center.

Hi Phil,
Couldn't get the old speedo to work with the new wheel. Looking into speedo for smaller nikes to see if I can find a slimmer unit. TZr 125 uses a brembo wheel and looks to be 5mm slimmer. Fingers crossed!

Thanks so much for the quick response. Ma try to have forks machines as a last resort. The brembo wheel was used on a bunch of Yamahas, so I may check that avenue as well.

HELP! 17 inch wheel conversion. All AOK Except Speedo won't
Rear wheel went on without a hitch. We used a 1992 750 ss rear wheel and a 1996 Ducati 600 SS brake hanger and rear brake. Later rear brakes were thicker and would not work. All that needed to be machined was a small spacer. Front came togheter perfectly with one exception. Sourced 280mm brake disc ...

What is best bracket to use to convert from 280 to 320 discs
We just finished installing the rear wheel ...next job is the front. Need a brake bracket to hang 40mm brembo 4 piston calipers. Have wheel and discs, but need bracket and calipers ... on a budget... it's Christmas

Nice looking bike! They definitely ride well. A sort of budget F1, with kind of a cult following in the U.K.

Re: Anyone actually happy with their Weber carb?
Thanks! I spoke with a mechanic who has had quite a few of these in his shop over the years. After clogged jets, vacuum leaks and fuel pressure problems seem to be the most prevalent. He believes my bike has oversized venturies and we both think my airfilter looks very similar to one off a Porsche 914

Re: Where to start in regards to a 17 inch rear wheel conver
Thanks! I've got a 40 mm front fork, so that may be less of an in issue, maybe more. I switched the rear swingarm on my paso to a 907 some years back, but I like the verilicci swingarm on the sport and so far the it doesn't look like I'll do anythink but fit a spacer, if I use the rear break etc and...
