Re: 907 EPROM

Hi, On my 907 I earlier this year gave up a bit on the mini MyP8 as I could not get it to run properly. Have an LC-1 O-2 sensor and plan to get the Optimizer over Winter and give it another try. I think mainly my ignition table was wrong, and I tried many. In the meantime I have borrowed a USBIII P...

Re: 907ie misfire - maybe a cure???

Hi again, Late getting the bike out this year. Instead of the cigbutt I placed a much thinner tube inside the rubber hose at the sensor. It wil slow the air speed as well as the cig. The tube used was left over from my scottoiler accessories. Anyway to seems to work, or maybe its something else I do...

Re: i need a ECU - Urgent for my 907 IE

Hi, On a trip to the Dutch TT a few years ago my 907 wouldn't start after a tank stop. I figured it out to be one of the relays. I got another type and continued. Figured out later that these had terminals which did not match completely and would drain the battery if not removed when stopped. Did th...

Hi Laddie, Not on this forum too often, but good to hear that I am not alone with my troubles. I have an 907 with 105.000KMs on it. The exact same trouble have happened occasionally over the years since -98/26000KM when I got it from a dealer in Italy. Modifications are Staintunes and FIM chip. Moto...

Hi, Far too much and have I had time to get one from our std. supplier I would surely have done so as I would have paid some EUR 30,00 for it instead. Still the Harley battery (or a battery from the manufacturer that makes these for HD) is somewhat worth it. My point was really to let you know of th...

Hi Have today passed 98900KM on my 907. Had a revision done last Winter and I had to insist to get new bearings. My mechanic thought it a bit of a waste, but when we had it open I wanted it done. I nearly always, since KM26000 when I got the bike from Italy have used what you call thin oils. 5-40, 1...

Hi, Due to various incidents the afternoon before leaving for the 2006 Assen TT and even I, through my company, get Exide batteries for half the shop price, I ended up searching for the battery that would suit my 907 and found that some mid-1990's model Harley's uses the same one. Located a dealer a...

Hi all, Some 5 yrs back I made a deal with the importer of Ohlins (and Ducati) in Denmark to make me a shock. So I have a fully adjustable Ohlins rear shock. It was aparantly made from some old drawings that he had lying about and it first cam with a grade 5 spring. Much too soft and was changed to ...

Hi Again from Denmark. Good description Sebastiaan. Exactly my experience. The other day, even I almost had given up and parked it for the Winter, I disassembled the fairing bits, again, again and went through the following: Cleaned EVERY connector, fuse, pins on relays, etc. Not much to see, but a ...

Thanks cagiva905, I did buy a new TPS 3 yrs ago which didn't solve the problem. The thing is that I can fight with it the remainer of the season, and come April it might not show for some time. I will check a few more things when I get time next week also the ign.boxes. From autoelectric I am always...
