Same here. I bought key blanks for all my 907ies from these guys and they were perfect. FYI, the '91 907ie uses a different key blank than model years '92 and '93.Stingray230SX wrote:i can second the "keys4classics" guys i also purchased keys from them for my 907 and they were perfect

procrastination killed the battery
Later, I saw the clock is stopped. perhaps, can the battery be damaged? On October 3rd, Today my battery bulb seems go crazy: sometimes it stayed on until 3000 RPM, sometimes until 2000 RPM, sometimes it stayed off when the engine idles. Is the regulator dying? Franco, You've been riding around for...

speech therapy
I don't want to jinx myself by saying this but my 907 (20K mi) runs well with none of this bullshit so all I can add is no they didn't all originally suck, though this is a common complaint. Ducman, I'm with you. I"ve got 3 907ies. I'm running racing chips, free flowing air cleaners, and after...

Do you have the stock mirrors as replacement? Franco, No, I have the Bimota/Cagiva or whatever-the-Hell-they-are replacement mirrors that got pulled out of some spare parts bin somewhere in Italy and pop up on e-bay from time to time and are routinely pawned off as Paso/907 mirrors when in fact the...

stock/modified gear ratios
Stock gearing for 907ie chain wheels is: 15/40 I'm running 14/42 on all my 907ies and prefer it. I went down one tooth in the front and up two in the back. Since the front chain wheel is smaller, going down one tooth in the front has more impact on power delivery than going up one tooth in the rear....

Re: replacement mirror
Franco, No, I'm not sure. I own two sets of these replacement mirrors. I've heard them referred to alternately as "Bimota" mirrors and "Cagiva" mirrors. I'm not sure exactly what Italian spare parts bin they come out of, all I know is they don't fit all that well. Elton The "...

replacement mirror
Nomad,Nomad wrote:Ordered a replacement for Ducati
The original OEM 907ie mirrors are no longer available through Ducati. The "replacement" mirrors are actually Bimota, not Ducati mirrors. And while they're pretty darned close, they're not an exact fit.

Re: 907 Right Mirror Assembly
yeah, you and everybody else! Check on e-bay...they appear on there from time to time. If it's a real one, (not one of the Bimota replacements that sort of fit, but not really), expect to pay dearly for it.Nomad wrote:I am looking for a 907 right mirror assembly, preferebly red.

actual production numbers
Do you agree that 730 907's imported into the US sounds right? The reason I questioned it is that, as you pointed out, they're not too hard to find. If only 730 were imported between 91 and 93, after subtracting those that were crashed & totalled or parted out, and those left sitting idle and d...

for what it's worth
There is a 907 for sale near me. He's asking $5300 USC. If it IS in excellent condition, is that price reasonable? Tim, $5,300.00 for a 907ie w/ 20,000 miles is too much. If you're patient, you'll find a better deal. Check e-bay. 907s get auctioned on e-bay fairly frequently. I've been following th...

Re: 907ie power increases
ok so i hav the heads off, now before i put the bike back together can i ask the masses what i might do to increase the power of my beloved 907ie. I am willing to go deeper into the motor. Raicerx, Assuming you've already upgraded the exhaust, air cleaner, and chip, you've got 2 choices. Either: 94...

I don't know what persempre is talking about. All three of 907ies have rev limiters.
Franco, rev that bike a bit! You'll find out you have a rev limiter!

I'll never approve a swap Ducati - Harley Davidson. Franco, Let the man rest! You know there's no way Yank can feel good about this deal without your approval! Throw him a bone! Do you want him to jump out a window? BTW, as I read his post, he's not swapping anything. He sold his 907ie, and now he'...
