Inspired no doubt by your example, Roy, I, too, have traded in my Paso (907, that is) for a new bike, in my case a new Moto Guzzi Griso 1100. For Ducati, I still have the Monster S4R, and there is the Buell 1125R, and the two Triumph 650s that need my attention. I have learned a lot on this forum, an excellent on-line community. I will rummage around for a few parts that I have left that someone may be interested in, will post in the FOR SALE forum if I do. So, not good-bye, but au revoir.

Nice bike the Guzzi Griso. I like her very much, but I would never trade a 907 for her.
No matter, I hope you will stay with us again.

For me it's also a see you later.
I 'm riding around with the Paso and still like it very very much.
The Streetfighter should have arrived two weeks ago.
But then again it's Italian style, so I allready caluculated two extra weeks in it.
I might be lucky to get the bike here and of this month.
Then there will be extra pictures with nice girls on it on the Forum.
PS The dealer from where I ordered the Streetfighter is also a Moto Guzzi Dealer (much longer than Ducati Dealer).
I wish you many quick but save km's on your new bike.

Re: I'm sorry to say: It's a goodbye!
Hello Guys,
I have some bad new with some light at the end of the tunnel.
My Paso which I replaced for a SF at the local Ducati Dealer was in the showroom for more than six months.
The shop owner (who is a big racing fan) then decided to part the Paso
He sold the fairings, wheels and so on but kept the hart.
This he transplanted in his Pantah racer. So a second live for the engine.
I still have some spare parts.
So If anyone needs some 16" wheels a rear sprocket wind conducters?

I would have bought the Paso back!Harigeharry wrote:The shop owner (who is a big racing fan) then decided to part the Paso
Many Paso's engine here are transplanted on Pantahs or TT replicas for challenges of vintage bikes .Harigeharry wrote:This he transplanted in his Pantah racer. So a second live for the engine.
Really, I don't understand such challenges...

Re: I'm sorry to say: It's a goodbye!
Its all about money.
If I had just a bit more and also a bit more space.
I would not have sold the Paso but kept it for fun.
When I traded the Paso for the SF I was pretty sure someone would buy my Paso.
Because I upgraded it, for about 10 years?
New fairing, new brakes, new wheels. It looked brand new.
But although it was for 10 months is a showroom for only €2750 nobody was interested. That is what made the shop owner decide to part the Paso (which brought more money).
It really is a pity.
Sorry guy, it feels like I have let you down.
Al least the hart pounds on.
