I failed my warrant of fitness because my light was pointing too high, or too low I can't remember.
anyway I have two problems as a result. 1 I discovered that the assembly to adjust the left right pointing of my headlight is stripped, and I removed it, and lost it, an i'm not sure I need to care about that. but also I have no idea how to adjust the uppy downy aspect...
so yeah... once I replace my headers and fix the headlight and the guy was being a hardass about the clearance on the shinko tyres and the front mudguard so I'm not sure if I have to worry about that.

Have a look at the last pages of your owner's manual.
To lift the fender just put spacers or washers under the fenders mounting bracket where it mounts to the fork legs.

Re: headlight adjustment
Last time a tester gave me shit about the headlight height I just said it was adjusted for riding with a passenger . That was real funny coz the dickhead stalled it about 5 times ( weber /clutch conspiracy ) and then gave it a serve and nearly rode it into the inspection pit ( testing station does trucks too ) scared himself shitless

Re: headlight adjustment
Same thing with my headlight, the plastic adjuster strips as it had never been turned in 20 years. Used some washers as packing where the headlight is fixed back to the support frame to tilt the headlight in the right direction.
Cheers,
Fraser.

Re: headlight adjustment
might pay to give the adjusting screws a wiz with a wire brush just to make sure there is no rust on the threads as this will scrape out threads pretty quick
