Who was at the services having a Dave Day yesterday I saw you but was in need of fuel ( the pleasures of a tiny tank on a Streetfighter V2 ) so never had a chance to say Hi.

He must have been quite the character to prompt a continued response, I’ll have to read more on his life.

For those curious this ride out was for Dave Myers one of the Hairy Bikers of UK fame who passed away earlier this year, He with his side kick Si, were down to earth food show type presenters who had a passion for motorbikes. So over 46,000 of us bikers ( there was a lot more who road just part of the route) and heavens knows how many members of the public road on or stood alongside or waved above from the bridges above the route from London to Barrow in Furness, England. Here is a taste of what occurred. ( My son and I left at 3.30 am to travel south to be at the start and arrived in Barrow at 5.45pm and were back home at 10.45pm that night tired and so privileged to be part of such an event)

The 907ie I saw on route is actually on eBay up for sale so I have an idea who it belongs to.
