750 Paso front brake adapters to swap 320 rotors to M1R

Post by Finnpaso »

Have anybody done such adapters to 750 M1R fork with 4 piston "black" Brembos, or "gold line" 4 piston Brembos???

Now i have normal cast iron original 280mm rotors with adapters to 4 piston black Brembos, but planning in future 17" conversion with same calipers to original M1R fork, but with 17" wheel and 320mm rotors.

All info will be welcome

(also with 65mm brakes)

Ansim, the Autocad file download doesn`t work. Can you fix it or send me the file ? I would like to add this info to the downloads if you don`t mind.

NOTE:
This adapter is for orginal Oscam wheel with 280mm rotor and orginal M1R fork.
Sorry for this. Remembered wrong.

Here are link to photos with mounted adapter on my Paso.

Yes, i meant adopters between 320mm normal Ducati rotors / 4 piston Black Brembos(or early "golden line" Brembos) / original 750 M21R fork.

It seems to be very tight with a 320 rotor/disc and 16" wheel.

See my pictures with 280 rotor,
http://alltomingenting.no-ip.info/gallery/album04

It's tight with 4piston Brembo/280 rotor and a bigger rotor/disc will probably make it more tight.
I doubt that a 320 rotor won't fit at all.

But with a 17" wheel it will be ok, as you plan, Finnpaso.

With some measurement the adapter can be modified to fit a 320 rotor/disc.

Here there is the conversion to 320 mm. rotors, 40 mm. calipers (Brembos black or earlier goldline) keeping the 16" wheels.

Nope, it's still the 280mm rotors and 16" wheel.
Check these pictures, http://www.geocities.com/750paso/paso/4 ... sult12.htm

But it is not so tight with 40mm spacing calipers.

Yes, it's right, I was mistaking.
They are the stock rotors!!!
Sorry  .
However, it will not to be too hard make the right calipers holes to fit with the 320 rotors.

guys, if you just check what I posted. That`s a M1R fork with 17" wheels, 320mm discs and 65mm Brembos + adapters.
Antti, it seems not clear, do you want to switch to 17" with these brakes or keep the 16" ?

Surely i make same time 17" conversion with original 907 wheels, so i meant 17" Ducati rim.

I mean adpters for OLDER black coloured 4 pistons, or OLDER golden line Brembos WITH 40mm hole distance. Those Yours are for newer calipers...
