I need some recommendations on where to acquire some of these parts - don't see anyone parting out a bike like mine just now.
I'm willing to buy a universal internal cable kit if anyone has direct experience with one that worked perfectly.
Thanks!

handgrips can be had at any cycle shop most likely a throttle lock as well
lots of shops can make you up a cable.
I'm sure G has the proper part number for the cable

Yeah, thanks higgy. Now I have to look that up.
It`s 40310011A. It`s the same one used on the 906.
Ever noticed that the parts manuals show the speedo and rev counter cables swapped?

Re: WTB (USA): 907ie speedo cable, handgrips, throttlelock
Thanks for the info. I'm sort of a purist, so I was hoping to find grips very similar to oem. If there aren't any options, can anyone offer a suggestion about gel grips? That seems appealing to me.
Thanks

OEM ?? dude grips have not changed in at least 25 years, or perhaps you meant to say you want to pay Ducati premium priceing for a 10.00 pair of grips

Take it easy on me, I'm fairly new to this hobby.
I'd like to find the same grips that the bike shipped with; I was speculating that the dealers don't sell them anymore... and opening the possibity that some aftermarket vendor makes clones.
Yeah, I'm willing to pay the extra $ for concourse points.

Re: WTB (USA): 907ie speedo cable, handgrips, throttlelock
I can't believe it - the Dealer here in Los Angeles actually located a speedo cable with that part number (thanks guys!) in the Bologna factory warehouse. They said it will arrive here in 5-8 days at a cost of $21.00 USD. No shipping charges. They said it would have arrived sooner, except the boys in Bologna are on summer vacation, and so there is a skeleton crew working who is a little slower than the normal crew at filling orders.
!?! Is this the deal of the century? They have two. I'm inclined to buy both.

Re: WTB (USA): 907ie speedo cable, handgrips, throttlelock
Did the cable arrive yet? I need one as well and the parts book shows them reversed in position. I want to make sure I am ordering a speedo cable and not a tach cable. My intention is to order #40310011A...
