Possible 906 purchase
I've had a couple of 750's but never a 906 and I have the opportunity to pick one up cheap. Is there anything special to be looking for on the 906 other than the common issues the Paso's share; i.e.; difficult to find tires, maintenance, etc.?

Re: Possible 906 purchase
Hi,
I would check the coolant reservoir tank for leaks (cracking around the outlet nozzle). It's in the top RHS next to the headlight basically. Modifications are on this site to convert it to unpressurised service but having an uncracked one to start with makes life easier.
Other than that, I can't think of anything special apart from the usual Paso stuff as per the 750. Others may recall more. Maybe the Digiplex ignition box but I can't think of a simple check to verify it's condition other than the bike is running OK.
Cheers,
Mick
