Yes Mark, the 907 clutch is the same as all subsequent dry clutch models ; 900SS, Monster, 748/9**, ST*, etc and will happily accept the dry clutch mod.

Mmmm Ive just started thinkin about this Markst , your Paso 750 has the dry clutch with a slave in the outer cover ? similar to the 906 , coz if so you shouldn't have to do the quiet clutch mod , in fact Im not sure how that would go . I THINK the 750's clutch is the same as the 906's ( not sure ) but either way they are both way different to the 907 , SS , ST clutch. My 906 clutch basically squashes the springs/plates between the hub and the basket ( with a static axial load on the primary gear bearings ) so its sorta self dampening , and is real quiet . All the plates are held in place by a big circlip that fits into the basket, :)

Yes indeed it does.

I'm not, it's englishstiv who needs to do it on his 907.

Yes it's identical - I've just downloaded and viewed the parts list for the 906.

The Suzuki ones'll cost you about twenty eight quid delivered, but new plates alone probably won't quieten it down.

The quiet clutch mod'll tek u abt half an hour and cost u nowt - why not just give it a go . . .

Okay after several variations on a theme with numerous friction and steel plates I seem to have a reasonably sensible sounding clutch still snatches a bit and with a grumble on the coasting run but a whole lot better. Lets hope it settles down a bit more on the Run to Brighton via the Ace Cafe next week for the 3rd Gathering?

Well done and let's hope so. Yes they do take a bit of mucking about with.

That's a bit of a run, and not on the nicest of roads in my opinion. Unless of course you're taking a scenic A road route like perhaps the A38 or the A49 and A44 via Oxford kinda ways. I have an intense dislike of the M6 and the M1. The M40 ain't too bad though, but motorways are just so boring any which way.

If you are going A roads, there's some dynamite riding between Evesham area and Oxford on the A44 and A34, including the fabulous Fish Hill near Broadway, and there isn't really a lot of traffic either generally.
