Re: Restarting the original
Re the vacuum ports .... there is one for the weber marelli ignition module , but I think some of the 750's used Koukusan modules that didnt req a vacuum port . Im pretty sure there are a couple of ports for balancing the 2 venturis ( use throttle bypass screws ). Dunno if any Paso variant came with...

Re: Restarting the original
Mine are NZ made Cycleworks , They are well made ..... drill the rivets out to remove end cap for repacking and fitted up well . I fitted them at my place of work and when I cranked it up one co worker said that he had never heard a bike that sounded like that and went and bought a 900 monster ( not...

Re: Restarting the original
Your mufflers look a lot like mine ( I like them )
You can drop a golf ball right thru them so I dunno so much about calling them silencers ( nearly emptied a bank in Chch when it backfired in the carpark )- Wed Sep 11, 2024 8:44 pm

Re: New Dash
Yean , That was in Nelson , some parts the road doesnt see sunlight for months in the winter , either shaded by hills or trees . Round here (Thornbury ) they grit the roads instead of salting them . You gotta watch as when it warmer later in the day and there is no frost you come sailing round the c...

Re: A Question Strangers ........it's a mirror thing.
Ha ha yeah if you needed a new one just pop it off someone else's Paso . I didnt know they clipped on untill I had unbolted one . I spose the wiring harness may act as a tether , I mean its handy that they pop off instead of "getting ground off by gravel" ( :D ) but if it goes bouncing off...

Re: New Dash
Im pretty sure that the gauge and sender are the same ( come on somebody and tell me Im wrong :D  ) it just says oil temp for the 750 and water temp for the 906 - 7. For what its worth .......I had a 900ss ( belt ) that had 2 oil coolers ( no t/stat ) and in the winter the oil wasnt getting any...
Re: New Dash

Re: rear shock
Well there you go
I bought budget Hagons for my Guzzi 15 years ago and while not having had much use they don't leak and haven't gone rusty.... yet.
I have a notion that Hagon make shocks to suit a few budget levels .

Re: rear shock
Well it depends a bit on which shock you have . If the shaft is ok and its not leaking oil just pulling it to bits and giving it a good clean out and fresh oil can make a difference . There are still some parts available , The seal is probly the most important and I have not yet failed to find somet...
