Re: Paso-ferry-straps-how to?
I don`t you should worry, the loadingcrew onboard on the ferries are trained and skilled in terms of how to secure all kind of vehicles during a crossing. I would bring with me some old T-shirts or towels or so in case to put under the straps to avoid wear, if necessary. This means you have to be th...

I am sorry to inform you that Audi (VAG) has bought Ducati for 860 mill. euros.
By this deal the Germans has bought all of the Italian motor industry.
Its a sad day. I hate VAG!

Re: Starter solenoid
Hi Doug
The starter solenoid is the same on all 2 valve engines, at least up to 1998. So there should be no problem to get one from your Duc. dealer.
Ducati partnr. is 39740011A. Orginal fitment is Hitachi 12 V MS 5A-181.
Hella 4RA 003 510-131 solenoid may also fit.
Regards

Re: Carb convert.
Hi Bertus Yes, I am aware of the guides, the heads are off and it looks like not bad at all. Valves/seats does seems ok, but will take out the valves for a closer inspection. Weatherforecast for North of Norway: 5-10 dgr.C below, 1oo cm or so with snow. The sun came back on the 22. jan. after 3 mont...
