New Shorai battery FS
We got in a top end Shorai battery, the 36 AH unit for testing on starting Harleys. Due to the larger size, it will only fit a Paso so listing it here for the faithful prior to going to Ebay. $200. It's a real good deal, if it would fit either of my bikes I would keep it. Email direct or PM as I don...

FYI, looks like a nice Paso FS
I keep an eye out for some Ducati items but
I'm not a candidate for a Paso so thought I would pass this on.

As always you're on your own.
Thanks,

Re: Save it before he parts it out - 1987 Paso - SF Bay Area
If only it was not 700 dollars away in transportation fees, I would give it a good home  Anyone out that way coming this way in a truck? Call these guys Aladdin Freight in Oakland Calif. They are across the Bay from me (I live in San Anselmo north of San Francisco) 1(510) 533-0400 They do ...

Re: MotoLectric Starter Cable upgrade - what a difference!
But.... 79 $ for 4 bits of cable First off, I appreciate all the positive comments made about my products. Secondly I can understand the above comment because I have not gotten my "what's inside" product comparison finished and online. I've bought the low cost option that is out there alo...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
higgy, running 25m² wires on a bikes starter is like mounting tires that are good for over 300km/h on your Paso. G. Was just re-reading through some of the posts I scanned originally and see that this one slipped past me. The diameter of American Wire Gauge 4 GA is 0.2043 inches (5.189 mm) not 25 m...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
I truly believe the kit proposed works ( I find it a little bit pricey, but i guess you pay for the convenience of having a "kit" taylor made) , although I am preatty sure that just by disassembling, cleaning, lubricating and reassembling the old wiring it would make a noticeable differen...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
As Jon also has stated this guy is first rate in his research and from what I can see is honestly providing well constructed and DURABLE solutions to common(?) real world problems. Say Folks, (hey, this ended up being a good bit longer than I had hoped it would be, sorry about that) I wanted to say...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
I didn`t mean to criticize btw if that is how my comments were understood. G. None that I saw. I'm very much a DIY type person and was just pointing out the limitations to going DIY on some aspects of the bike. Even with my professional crimpers for other types of terminals it is possible to get a ...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
Mick, it is a good solution. Higgy, if you have crimping pliers you can do it for $20-30 depending where you buy the parts. G. I am working up an overview to some of the points brought up in earlier posts but a quickie here is . . . that you cannot properly crimp any wire gauge larger than about 10...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
I`m wondering a bit. It`s says: 4 gauge wires. That corresponds to 25mm², if I`m not wrong. That`s thicker than the starter wires in my car. Sounds a bit over the top to me. For what the starter requires a good AWG 8 (10mm²) is absolutely sufficiant. Good for 65A and better than the original wiring...

Re: New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
Michael - I just clicked the link to your site, and GoDaddy is reporting that the domain expired and is pending renewal or deletion (as of yesterday). I'm sure it's just unfortunate timing, but I thought I'd mention it in case you weren't aware. I'm interested in finding out more about your product...

New cure for hard to start Paso bikes
(I obtained permission from the forum moderator for this post.) Hello Paso Owners, I run a site for the Cagiva Elefant and Ducati E900 bikes (http://www.elefantadventurebikes.com). Since 2002 I have developed a series of electrical upgrades for those bikes that have proven to be very popular. I have...
