For Sale! Opinions?

http://s781.photobucket.com/albums/yy95/Hazzardrawk/1988%20Ducati%20Paso/ The right side mirror/turn signal that is missing in the pictures does exist. It also has the amber lens. Paso Right Turn Signal Lens

I need a right turn signal lens. Just the yelow part. I have the rest of the mirror/turn signal assembly. 2 actually. For those who remember me? I gave up trying to learn on it. I have gathered all the pieces to make it a whole. Just missing the lens. I doubt that the bike is for sale. But it's all ...

Re: First ride

Im glad I got to stir up some good conversation. I also seemed to have resparked an old thread about first bikes. So I will fill in some questions. The fist bike I rode was a schwin. Then a BMX race bike and I graduated to a 12 speed. Yeah I skipped the 10 speed. My first motorized bike was a moped....

First ride

I would say I did very very well considering all the factors. It's going to take a pro to ride this bike. I'm not a pro. So basically I give up for now. I am going to focus my attention back on the suzuki and make it legal and sell it and take that money to buy another bike to learn on. So let me ex...

Re: Mid-Ohio Vintage days

When I was reading your other post earlier,I was thinking that you shouldn't be having that much trouble taking off and it was the weber flooding, but then I remembered that you swapped out the weber for mikunis ? was it,anyway I didn't bother saying anything at the time but now that you mention the...

Re: Mid-Ohio Vintage days

Dont get mad? Really? If you had any clue about the rest of my day? Do I really need to explain that I tried to mow and all it did was make grass balls and kill the mower? No not that tall and wastn wet when I started. How did that piece drop? gravity? it would fall straight down. Onto the the _ par...

Re: Mid-Ohio Vintage days

Funny you should ask. I finally had the time and enough bravery of the heat to try it out today. Well the choke didnt feel right and something was not attached to the carb. Took it apart and saw the cable was gone. so fished that through for a while. I droped whatever you call the piece the attached...

Mid-Ohio Vintage days

I heard there were 3 Paso's parked together at the Mid Ohio Vintage cycle days on Saturday. I am curious who they were. I was not one of them. Maybe next year.

Re: weber what if ?

Just a thought. In my mind this should be posted on the FAQ page. But I would clean it up a bit so that it is not 4 pages long. There is a lot of good info here and a lot of good hands on experiments and trials. I swapped my weber for a mikuni. But if i get really bored and the weather ever cools do...

Re: Learning to Ride on a Paso?

This seems to tell me I need more practice. Im not sure what the old owners did when riding. I know I played with using the clutch and looked at videos. Plus these posts I think it must be there is only one small spot where you can ride the clutch. Give RPMs and then lurch into drive. And this bike ...

Re: Paso pronunciation

I was thinking paso. as in a as pronounced in apple. The "so" as is in the word so. like when you say "so?" but without the question. Just wondered since I have heard several different ways it's pronounced and it is italian and used their verbal sense. So it's not like the mexica...

Paso pronunciation

How do you say Paso? In my search I found that this is interresting reading. http://www.theitalianproject.com/italiannews6-June-2008.html Hit ctrl and then hit the F key and type Paso. it just goes to show I seem to be the last one on the face of the earth to upgrade from a weber carb. Believe it or...
