yea, ive been told alot, most involves splitting the case, to get to it. gonna sell the engine seperate. swing arm and wheels are sold. me being new, and trying to tear apart the motor, i would mess something up, would never get the shims right again, etc. maybe buy a smaller bike a litter newer whe...

the trans part is about junk. chain went through the case was fixed but now a loud klaking. if ya want any parts let me know.
has ferraci pipes great condition. all else is original, except seat.

update..... ok so put the chain on, bike is on a center stand off the ground.. was gonna try to turn rear wheel, but cant get it in gear.press the shifter down 6 or 7 times just to make sure , but still free spins cant clik up half way to find nuetral either, pulled in tue clutch and still no catch....

yea true since im new i better buy the proper tools. if tue altenator area is all ok, then will look at clutch side, then. next guess is remove the heads and check the valves but the noise was in idle mode. so i doubt the yclutch gears are the problem. p.s. as for the production date of the tyres, i...

bottom meaning forward, and top meaning back, correct? tyres are factory. about a year left on them. then time to empty my wallett on new tyres. ouch.

i see and u must not need to turn very much for it to move the wheel then. then make the chain to fit with a little play, then turn eccentrics to move wheel back to take up the chain slack ?

now the chain is brand new and too long. i got a chain breaker , but was told to bring the back wheel forward a notch or two first then make the chain to length,, then bring the back wheel back again. how do u make sure the wheel is straight, so the chain isnt cocked ? how tight do u want the chain.
