Re: Replacing the Digiplex S2 on the 906 Paso
Mine still would have too if I hadn't been such a dipstick and put a new battery on with the terminals reversed.JWilliam wrote: my Paso stil has the original Digiplex.
Cue melting wiring and smoke, and a non-working ignition system.
I have a new IgniTech one now so will see how that goes.

Re: First post and an ignition problem!
Derek.
Thanks for that, but the Kokusan replacement stuff is not compatible with the DigiPlex box, so can't really be used on the 906.
That came from the manufacturer in the last few days.

Re: First post and an ignition problem!
In answer to my earlier query, I have found more references to this issue on the forum, so am looking at the Dutch option of an exchange unit via carmo.
If anyone has experience of the results I'd be interested to hear.

Re: Replacing the Digiplex S2 on the 906 Paso
I need a new box, so am trying various sources, but wondered if anyone using this site has a working one they are prepared to part with.
It will be for a 906.
I'm in the UK so it will be worth checking the cost of postage.
Thanks

Re: The real reason it is called a 906. . .
I always thought that it was so that when they put the decals on upside down after the Chianti break it wouldn't matter.

Re: First post and an ignition problem!
Is anyone aware of a replacement for the Marelli unit on the 906? A question asked on here earlier was whether the 750 unit was the same. Does anyone know? One of my 906's seems to have fried the ecu after connecting up the battery the wrong way round (long story!) and I am looking for a solution as...

Here are my two 906's (glutton for punishment me!).
Both a bit different from standard.

Re: Indicator lenses again!
Thanks Englishstiv, I note the problems you had. I see this was about eight years ago though, so there may be a new "market" for a few. However, I'm only going to order them if I get some firm demand and the cash up front, that's why I just asked about 5 pairs initially. As an update, they...

Re: Indicator lenses again!
As I have now found a source for these, I have enquired about buying a "job lot" with the thought that I might get a better deal for fellow UK Paso owners. Now bearing in mind that I haven't seen them yet, so can't comment on quality etc, but there are precious few options, I've asked abou...

Re: Indicator lenses again!
Thanks for the additional info Frank. I bought a pair anyway, though I was unable to connect the seller (ergon.commerce) with FAR. Still, at £100 for the pair, delivered, as against anything from £120-£160 EACH for genuine but second hand ones from e-Bay it makes them a good bet. I paid £100 for thr...

Re: Indicator lenses again!
I was also looking for some new mirrors to complete a re-spray and tidy-up, and found these on Amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Rear-view-motorbike-R%C3%A8TROVISEUR-R%C3%BCckspiegel-Au%C3%9Fenspiegel/dp/B01E91S6H4 Definitely worth a look but I don't know how many they have left. I grabbed a pair whi...

Fixing the 16" tyre problem
Paso Tyres – the 16” wheel conundrum I put this article together for the Ducati Owners Club GB, but thought I should also share it here. Several years ago, long after the short-lived craze for 16” wheels had been forgotten, Pirelli quietly announced that they were to cease making the odd-sized MP7 t...
