I wish. I found a link to a supplier of all kinds of odd connectors. They had panel nuts, but nothing like this.

Replacement nut for trip meter reset knob
The panel nut that retains the trip meter reset knob in the dash panel on my 907ie went bye-bye on a ride a few days ago. :( 20260126_123329.jpg The nut is only available as part of the speedometer assembly. A quick check showed the 907ie knob threads appear to be 14mm wide and 1.0 thread pitc...

Re: 907ie wiring modification confusion
I finished the wiring mod today. I used a spare fuse position in the fuse block to provide the fuse for the battery power wire. The spare position had unused fuse terminals in place ready to be wired. If you do not have the unused terminals, skip this and just use an external fuse, because as far as...

Re: Fuse terminal retention
Well, to answer my own question, it appears there is no need for a tab; the window in that side of the terminal fits over a post and seems to stay seated well enough until you pry it off the post. The first time I reinserted it, I guess I did not catch that post. Retrying, it locked in place....

Fuse terminal retention
I am doing the ignition switch wiring mod, and I decided to use an available open fuse position in the fuse block for the battery power supply wire. The open fuse position included 2 unused fuse terminals. One fell out easily, and I removed the other in the usual way with a tiny screwdriver in the t...

Re: 907ie wiring modification confusion
One further thing. Always have a fuse in line with the 12v to pin 30 of the relay (assuming you connect it to pin 30). If there is a fault with the relay in the future, and you short 12v to ground, you will blow the fuse. No fuse and you may end up melting a lot of insulation and sparks and what no...

Re: HELP! Rebuild of 1992 907ie clutch master cylinder
OK. All is good again. Initially, after the rebuild, I only had a partial clutch. So, I cracked open the banjo bolt very slightly and pushed out a few drops of fluid. This must have cleared out any air trapped in that high spot. Retightened the banjo bolt, and BAM! FULL CLUTCH ACTION! I even backed ...

Re: HELP! Rebuild of 1992 907ie clutch master cylinder
Yes, the kit appears identical, and the clutch and rear brake master cylinder bores are the same 13mm diameter. It surprised me that they are not cross-referenced as far as I could find.

Re: HELP! Rebuild of 1992 907ie clutch master cylinder
Hi All: I am rebuilding my 1991 907ie clutch master cylinder. I ordered part 000047226. I received 110436252. I didn't notice the part number discrepancy, and I opened it and started to use the kit. The parts look absolutely identical to what should be in 000047226 and to what came out of my clutch ...

Re: Replacing fuel pump undertank electrical harness.
I built a new harness with these parts from eBay. WhatsApp Image 2020-09-29 at 4.09.37 PM.jpeg 16 AWG GXL high temperature automotive wire in colors to match what is shown in the wiring diagram rather than what I found. So, Violet for +12V, Black for ground, Blue for fuel level sensor, Yellow for re...

Re: Replacing fuel pump undertank electrical harness.
The major issue for me is not the connector, but I will replace it with something like you suggest. The problem the wires from the connector up to the tank. They are right on top of the engine with nothing but a common harness sheath to protect it. Everything is brittle. So, I suppose there is nothi...

Replacing fuel pump undertank electrical harness.
My fuel pump began to not activate at times and after a lot of diagnostics verifying that the relays, pump itself and other wiring are OK, I found that the harness piece that goes to the tank has turned to stone from engine heat over the years. Are there any recommended wiring parts that work best o...
