We planned go there next springtime with workfriends, but that is not sure yet. Anyway its very big city(and surely high prices...) but there is HUGE AMOUNT, what to see. Anyway its very big "metropol" with all human can imagine to "need". We are making next spring/start of summer also bus journey(again 3-4 days) to Karelia(Petroskoi town), what is about 300km north from St.Petersburg and that is better "playground" with much lower prices and "real east atmosphere"

We shall see, what future brings... hopefully not AIDS!

Btw, it very wise to charge battery, before make some trip with Ducati. Its awfull to try start her with pushing... Then need some hondaman to push Ducati... I have done that.... Luckily that honda guy was helpfull.... :funny:

I came back to my trip.
I went to the sea. The sea smell is fantastic for me.

The brakes start to work :lick: :lick: :lick: , but, every time I ride my Duck (the clock did the summer hour :D ), an issue happens.
The water tank still leaks. Really, I've to change the rubber hoses.

Let me know when you'll go in St. Petersberg.
If I'll can, I also will come there.
The metropolis don't frighten me.
Except of 4 years (when I lived in Ravenna), I've always lived in a metropolis.
Now, I'm in Rome (3,5 million people) even if I'm not happy here. I'm starting to appreciate the quiet and a simpler life.

The time passes also for me, my hair gets gray, and I charge the battery of my 907 before to start it.
:funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:

So, I don't need to search any hondaman to push me.

It leaks from the connection between the T rubber hose and the water tank.
I've tried to tighten the clamp but I'm really afraid of breaking the tank.
Unfortunately, in the 907 I've bought for spare parts the water tank is broken and fixed with the fiberglass.
So, I would preserve it...
Tell me more, "Pasodoctor".

Is it leaking from BETWEEN rubber tube and that connection piece af tank??? If so, You need to visit metal man to make some brass, etc. metal one piece to inside that connection pipe to bent it round and then need such clamp, what tights all AROUND softly HOLE rubber pipe. Those normal screw clamps make such, that they try bent that pipe connection to "oval"(not round). Just that was leak cause in my tank and i put just right side brass small pipe to inside plastic pipe, what make that round and then new BETTER modell clamp, what must be like sring around rubber and enough tight surely. U can find such from some car spare part sellers. They use them currently in near all cars in water pipes. That brass piece MUST be just right size, that it makes, what need and with lathe is very simple to make such. Inside hole size is not important, about 6mm is good.

But, If Your leak is in just that tank connection piece, (that its leaking from AROUND it), then there is 3 ways (at least... ) to fix it:

1. Cover hole tank with fiberglass.

2. Make new tank from alumium with welding.

3. Try find such guy, who can weld just THAT plastic (what is quite greasy one). Then you can take that plastic enough from aroud of those connection holes of tank. One guy make this way and it stopped to leak then, but surely need just right guy, who knows plastic welding.

Pitty, that i have fairings on in my 907, that cant take foto

These are "DUCTORS orders"

Today, another sea day.
It was so hot I left the sweater and I sunbathed a lot on the beach, only wearing the T shirt.

Come in Italy. Here is still summer.

I wanted to know, is problem that clamp system only, OR is that tank broken some way..... Medicins are different to those.... Mine leak from between hose(rubber pipe) and tank, caused by wrong screw clamp, what bent platic connection part and caused leak. Its fixed now and no anykind problems there. New better spring clamp and that round brass part to inside plastic connection piece... Function, like "trains toilet" ("junan vessa")   Btw, more use that clychol in cooling water makes more easily leaks, but we use about 15% clychol, cause it protect against corrosion inside engine.

I am in ilness holidays(something bad in sholder) till next friday, so i cant tarvel to Italy, sorry, Frankie... ....sometimes "Ductor" needs real Doctor....

The lack is beetween the plastic pipe of the tank and the rubber hose, so the clamp is a little bit rusty.

The tank is not broken, I've checked it, so I didn't understand the reasons of the lack. So, tightened, tightened, tightened the clamp.

Which kind of clamp I have to search?

When you came here your desease ends....

So, You have JUST same fault, what i had !!! :funny: Need to CHANGE different clamp and visit "lathe man" for that brass piece(that is important, that it makes just that plastic connect pipe ROUND!!!!) When U take that hose away, then You see, that plastic connection pipe is OVAL(due that screw clamp), not round and then normal clanp is very bad to this place...

I take just some fotos about clamp(what need to find!!!), but U have to wait this weeks friday, when i go to work, then i can send fotos to You(that another mail address)... Anyway, i think, that U are not very hurry with this, cause U have still riding season there... And maybe leak is quite small, like i had.

Hey You Beemer, U have to send Your normal personal email address(not this PASOsite PM !!!!) to me: finnpaso@gmail.com ,if You want those same fotos, as i send to Frankie. I was today in doctor, and seems, that it CAN be also, that i cant go to work next friday to send fotos, but that we shall see thusday evening.... That Your normal address need to have enough free space surely for some 4-5 fotos !!!! Btw, those fotos are ONLY from that clamp, nothing more, cause that brass thing is inside tank pipe and there are those fairings on and if take foto of that brass thing, then need to take waters away and expansion tank away.... I dont do that now! Anyway many of those leaks can be fixed with my notes in this topic. Someone surely have had problems with broken expansion tank and i explaned also cures for that....

"Ductor", who is ill now from sholder  But surely i have hard painkillers... No need to take spirit! Painkillers make same effect... :funny: :funny: :funny:

I don't think you enjoy a painkiller pill more than a little bit of Koskenkorva
:funny: :funny: :funny: :funny: :funny:

So, I also will put a metal pipe into the plastic pipe of the tank, then I will put a new clamp (I'm waiting for your photos) on the rubber hose.

I hope you recover very quickly  .
